FAQ

How do I use your online store?

1. Selecting what you would like to purchase

Using our online store is really quite simple! Firstly browse the products that we have available in the "products" section, or search for a product using the search function. Click on the thumbnail image to view a large high-resolution photo of an item and to access further technical information for any given product.

2. Adding itmes to your shopping cart

Once you have decided you would like to purchase a specific item, simply click on the "add" button to add this item to your shopping cart. The item will stay in your cart until you either remove it, or proceed to the checkout. You can now add other items to your cart by clicking the "continue shopping" button. When you have finished adding items, you can proceed to the checkout by clicking on "proceed to checkout" which appears after you add an item, or by clicking "cart" in the top right hand corner of the page.

3. Proceed to the checkout

Once you have clicked on "proceed to checkout" you will be asked if you are a new customer or a returning customer. If you have purchased from us via our online store before, then simply enter the email address and password that you registered with our store the last time you made a purchase. If you are a new customer and have never made a purchase in our online store before, simply click the "new customer" button.

4. Logging in and signing up - new and existing customers

If you are a new customer, you will now be asked to enter some information such as your name, billing and shipping addresses, phone number and to choose a password. You will also see a drop down box next to "payment method" that will show "electronic bank transfer" by default. If you wish to pay by direct deposit / internet transfer into our company account, then please leave this box displaying "electronic bank transfer." If you would like to mail us a cheque, please feel free to change the payment method to "cheque." Please note, that cheque payments take at least 1 week longer to process than internet banking payments, as we have to wait to recieve your cheque, and then wait for it to clear before we can ship your goods! Please also note, we do NOT accept credit cards at this time, as the extra fees this would incur would force us to raise or prices - something we do not want to do!

5. Submitting your order

Once you have entered your personal details you can then verify and submit your order. Check to ensure your details are correct and then click "save." This will submit the order to us. We will then confirm we have the item(s) you want in stock and ready to ship. If for some reason we do not, we will email you to let you know when they will be available. In most cases we have the items you want ready and waiting, so you can expect an email reply from us with our company bank account details within a couple hours.

6. Paying for your order

Once you recieve the email from us detailing bank account details, simply log on to your internet banking service, and transder the funds! Be sure to use the order number as the reference when making payment.

7. Shipping your order

When your payment has cleared into our account (which can take up to 2 business days) we will ship your goods. You can log in to the Driven Performance online store to check the status of your order (it will change from "pending" to "shipped" once we have despatched your goods. You can also obtain the tracking number from the record of your sale in our online store.



How do I pay if I do not have a credit card?

We do not accept credit card payments at this time - but you can pay simply and quickly via internet banking! We will send our account details to you once you have submitted your order to us!


How much will freight cost me?

Freight varies depending on the size of your order, and your destination. Simply add the item(s) you want to your cart and proceed to the checkout and freight will automatically be calculated for you!


Can I pick up my order?

At this stage we do not have a retail store or location that you can come to collect your goods. We therefore ship all orders via courier direct to your door.


Can you send my order via NZ post instead of courier?

No we cannot. We only use a secure signiture required door to door courier service that allows tracking of your package to provide you, the customer, with peace of mind and a swift delivery.


Can you install and perform mechanical repairs?

At this stage we are unable to perform installations as we do not have a workshop. Most products that we sell are simple enough to install yourself - however if you do not feel you are up to the task, any workshop can install them for you. If necessary we can suggest a workshop in your area.


Do you offer a warranty on your products?

Of course we do! We offer full manufacturers warranty on all products we sell.


I cant find the item i want in your online store?

If you cant see the item you are looking for then please email us, and we will do what we can to locate it for you!.


Can you import a specific item for me?

Yes we can! It might take a couple weeks (or even months in the worst case) but yes we can source specific parts overseas for you. We will prequire payment up front for such orders however.


I dont live in New Zealand - can I still purchase from you?

Yes - absolutely! Unfortunately as our online store automatically adds sales tax to the price of your order, so you will need to email your order through to us. Be sure to include your name, delivery address, phone number, the item(s) you would like to order and any other relevant information. We will then make up your invoice and email it back in a PDF format. You can then pay via Western Union money transfer or International Money Transfer (IMT) direct into our bank account.
